Follow the complete setup path once, then reuse the same workflow for every local MCP project.

01

Install the app

02

Scan Environment and install tools

Run Environment scan and install or update uv, Serena Agent and tunnel-client until the required tools are ready.

03

Create an OpenAI API key

04

Add the API key to Runtime Key

05

Create an OpenAI Tunnel

Create a tunnel in OpenAI Platform and copy the Tunnel ID for the local MCP profile.

06

Create a project

Choose the project folder, languages, Runtime Key and Tunnel ID, then validate the new MCP project.
