From installation to AI connection
The app handles the repetitive setup. Follow these steps for a new workstation or project.
Install and open the app
Use the installer for your operating system. On first launch, Environment scans uv, Serena and tunnel-client.
Prepare required tools
If a prerequisite is missing, open Environment and install or update the required component before continuing.
Add a runtime API key
Store the runtime key used by your tunnel. Secrets are kept in the operating system secure storage where supported.
Create an MCP project
Choose a project folder, let the app detect languages, select the key and enter the OpenAI Tunnel ID.
Validate & Start
The manager prepares Serena, validates the profile, starts the MCP server and launches the secure tunnel.
Connect from ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT Apps/Connectors, select your configured tunnel, then watch the project switch from Connected to AI Active when tools are used.

Automatic, controlled updates
The Windows app checks the stable feed hosted by this site. It downloads the new package first and waits for active AI/runtime work to become idle before applying it on restart.
